I've been getting this quite a lot recently too.

I have a Core Duo MacBook Pro and run VMWare fusion on it. I'm developing websites on the Mac and testing them using IE 6 & 7 on VMWare. I've found that bridged networking is the easiest way to get the VMWare machine to see the web server on the Mac.

I'm running Leopard and have been since its release day, but the problem has only been happening for a couple of days.

The other variable in the mix is that I've just added a new Airport Extreme (n model) to my existing wireless network. So I now have the Airport N as the master wireless router and the Airport G extending the network to give me a better signal in the living room.

It's since buying the new Airport that I've been seeing the message. Maybe it's a coincidence, I don't know.

I had the same thing happen to me last night while running VMWare Fusion and connected to my wireless network. Were you able to confirm that this the cause of compromised wireless network notification?

Thanks,

Kevin

Glad that I could help Tony. As for PHP, you'll want to look in /etc/apache2/httpd.conf for the line:

#LoadModule php5_module libexec/apache2/libphp5.so

PHP is shipped disabled - just remove the leading # and then:

sudo apachectl restart

and you'll be on your way.

This was confounding me, and editing the httpd.conf file in the old location wasn't doing much. Your solution worked perfectly for me. Still seems like my virtual host and PHP5 configuration is also broken, but I suspect I'll figure that out soon enough now that I know where the config files are. thanks again! -tony
